Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support for issues pertaining to mechanical components causing drive performance or assembly issues.

  • Responsible for overall change management through drawing changes, generation of qualification plans and Engineering Change Orders.

  • Work with suppliers and factory Supplier Quality Engineers on issues pertaining to mechanical dimensions.

Requirements:

  • Degree is Mechanical Engineering or Science (Physics).

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in high volume manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge in manufacturing of mechanical components such metal stamping, plastic injection molding, plating, forging, etc.

  • Knowledge of disk drive will be an advantage

  • Excellent Solidworks skills

  • Capable of performing mechanical stack up tolerance analysis
